Update: September, 2019

The Project Team has received concurrence from the cooperating and permitting agencies to progress with a recommended Preliminary Preferred Alternative and will schedule meetings with local officials and the general public to obtain input on proposed bridge improvements in the coming months (Fall 2019/Winter 2020).

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has provided a preliminary review of the navigational survey results.

  • Finalize Comparison of Conceptual Alternatives Matrix
  • Identify Recommended Preliminary Preferred Alternative (PPA)
  • Conduct Local Officials Meetings & Public Information Center Meeting No. 2
  • Obtain Resolutions of Support by Municipalities and Counties
  • Complete CD Documentation
  • Receive concurrence on PPA from Agencies (FHWA, NJTPA, NJDOT)
